'Ridifarne' is a spacious, well-appointed waterside house occupying one of the finest south-facing sites on the Helford River, set in a lovely 3 acre garden right on the water's edge. It is the owner's second home and as such is very well equipped with many extras and in extremely good decorative order. A wide terrace and water garden running the whole length of the house on the south (river) side forms a sun-trap with beautiful river views. The lounge and the bedrooms have spectacular water views. Access to Bar Beach and the river is by steps leading from a lower terrace.

Spacious living areas, wonderful gardens and gorgeous water views provide a fantastic setting for a family/group holiday. Ridifarne is set on the banks of the calm waters of the Helford River, a favourite of sea meanderers and lovers of tranquility. The Ferry Boat Inn, a perfect spot to enjoy a waterside drink, is also just three minutes on foot. The Shipwrights Inn, just a short passenger ferry trip accross the south bank of the river and a gentle stroll, offers a different perspective on this beautiful area. From Ridifarne you also have access to some of the most spectacular coastal walks in South Cornwall, as well as Trebah and Glendurgan gardens - paradise for garden enthusiasts. The Budock Vean Hotel with its golf course and restaurant open to non-residents, is five minutes away by car. A passenger ferry operates from Easter until lst October, from the Ferry Boat Inn to Helford village.

FIRST FLOOR : Four large double bedrooms, each with washbasin. Bedrooms I and 2 have double beds, Bedrooms 3 and 4 have twin beds. Two Bathrooms, each with bath, shower, W.C, and basin. Separate W.C.

FACILITIES : Electric cooker, 2 refrigerators, freezer, automatic washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave cooker, food processor, 2 televisions, hi-fi with CD player, two televisions with FreeView, one DVD player.

Outside clothes-line.

Linen and towels provided.

Electric blankets in all beds from October to April.

OUTSIDE : The house is set in large landscaped gardens with ornamental ponds, streams and terraced areas. There is ample parking for several cars and a portable BBQ is provided.
